LinkedIn Groups – Not Just LinkedIn For Businesses
Besides creating a business profile on LinkedIn, a great way to connect with others is via a LinkedIn group. Now most people will find the biggest LinkedIn group and join. Big groups are great to view what the overall consensus or what is trending in your specific niche, but if you want to create more value, you need to take it a step further.
Businesses on LinkedIn (or even individuals) should try this two pronged approach: small group and creation. By joining small groups, say, LinkedIn groups with members from 1 to 5,000 (even 10,000 may be a bit high, YMMV), you have the opportunity to do the following: create a personal relationship with your industry, establish yourself as having internet credibility, and develop leads via LinkedIn. All of the above or key ways to grow your lead generation via LinkedIn and your bottom line.
By creating your own LinkedIn group, you have the opportunity to control the conversation. By continuing on the same principle as above, you have the opportunity to have others look up to you as the OFFICIAL internet leader, which is key online. You can make the group as big or small, public or exclusive as you want. By going into bigger groups and creating your internet brand, you will then be able to eventually create a small group from that bigger group that will drive revenue, drive leads, and make everyone happy.
